Ms. Simonova attended the Arzamas Music College and Gorky State Conservatory (Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia) where she received a Master degree in piano performing and teaching. She has taught in Russia at the Arzamas Music College (Russia), International School of Music (Bethesda, MD), Montessori School (Great Falls, VA), and St. Mark's Music Studio (Washington DC) while maintaining an international performance career.  She also has served as an accompanist, arranger, and composer for the theater at Northern Virginia Community College Theater arts Program. Ms Simonova is a member of the Virginia Music Teachers Association as well as the Music Teachers National Association.
